Refine: edit your email with AI

Refine is a chat panel inside the email builder that makes changes to your email for you — describe what you want in plain language, and it edits the template directly instead of you clicking through settings yourself.
Where to find it
Open any email in the builder and look at the right-hand settings panel. Alongside Content, Styling, and Visibility, there's a Refine tab. Unlike the other three tabs, Refine isn't tied to whatever block you have selected — it's a single ongoing conversation about the whole email, so it stays available whether you've selected a block or nothing at all. If you land on the builder with nothing selected, Refine is the tab you'll see by default.
What you can ask it to do
Refine can look at your email and make real changes to it, including:
Changing text, colors, fonts, spacing, and other settings on a block
Adding a new block from Zaymo's block list
Removing or duplicating a block
Moving a block somewhere else in the email
Pointing a block at one of your products, forms, or action buttons by name — you don't need to know the underlying ID, just describe which one you mean
It can also look at a picture of your email when a question is really about how something looks — spacing, alignment, or whether two colors match — rather than guessing from settings alone.
Creating a product feed or Swap Up offer
If what you're asking for needs a new product feed or Swap Up configuration behind it, Refine can set that up too. It will always show you exactly what it's about to create first and wait for you to confirm before anything is actually saved — it won't create something in the background without asking.
When it needs more from you
Refine sometimes needs a bit more information before it can act:
It may ask you a quick multiple-choice question rather than guessing. You can also always type your own answer instead of picking one of the options.
If it's not sure which block on the canvas you mean, it will ask you to click the one you're talking about directly, rather than describing it back and forth.
Reviewing and undoing changes
Every change Refine makes shows up as its own line in the conversation, in plain language (for example, "Changed button color to Navy"). Hovering over one highlights the exact block it affected on the canvas, so you can always see what changed and where. If you don't like a specific change, you can undo just that one from its line in the chat — the rest of what Refine did stays in place. An undo from Refine is a normal edit, so it also works with your regular Undo (Cmd/Ctrl+Z) and saves like any other change.
Your conversation with Refine stays in place as you keep working — switching to another tab or selecting a different block doesn't lose it, so you can pick the conversation back up later in the same session.
A few things to know
Refine is available in the email builder. It isn't currently part of the standalone form builder.
It works within the email you already have open — it edits the current template rather than generating a brand-new email from scratch.
It can only add blocks that already exist in Zaymo's block list, and it can only point a block at products, forms, or action sets your organization already has set up.
