MCP connector: connect Zaymo to Claude and other AI assistants
Last updated: September 4, 2026
The MCP connector lets you connect Zaymo to an AI assistant like Claude, so you can ask questions about your store's Zaymo data from inside the assistant and get live answers back. It's the same data behind , reachable from wherever you already work.
There are no API keys involved. You add one address in your assistant's settings, sign in with your normal Zaymo login, and pick which organization to connect.
Before you start
You need a Zaymo login. The connection uses your own account, and it can only reach data you already have access to.
You need an AI assistant that supports MCP connectors. Claude is what we've tested, and the steps below are written for it. Other assistants that support custom MCP connectors work the same way, with slightly different menu names.
Your Zaymo data comes from the integrations you've already connected, so if you haven't.
How to connect
1. Open connector settings in your assistant
In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
You can also get there from Zaymo. Open Integrations, click the MCP card, and use the Open Claude settings button.
2. Enter the Zaymo connector address
Paste this as the URL:
https://app.zaymo.com/api/mcpThat address is the same for every Zaymo customer. There's nothing account-specific to look up, and nothing secret about it. Your access comes from signing in at the next step, not from the URL.
3. Sign in and choose your organization
Your assistant will send you to Zaymo to sign in. If you're already signed in, you'll go straight to a page headed Authorize Claude, which says Claude is asking to query your Zaymo data through the Zaymo MCP connector.
Pick your organization from the Organization dropdown, then click Approve.
That's it. You'll land back in your assistant, connected.
Verify it worked
Open the MCP card on your Zaymo Integrations page. You'll see a Connected section listing the assistant and the email address it's connected as.
Then try a question in your assistant, something like "what was my Zaymo email revenue last month?" A real answer means everything is wired up.
What you can ask
Anything you'd ask . A few examples:
"What was my email revenue in Zaymo last month?"
"Which of my interactive emails drove the most subscription reactivations?"
"How many subscribers swapped a product from an email in the last 30 days?"
"Compare click-through on my last two campaigns."
You can also ask it to pull a table or export a CSV, and ask how to use Zaymo itself, since it can search this help center for you.
Because the assistant has your other context in the same conversation, this is most useful when you want Zaymo numbers alongside something else you're already working on, like drafting a report or a recap.
What it can and can't do
It reads. The connector can query your Zaymo data, explore what tables are available, build charts, and export CSVs. It can't send emails, edit or export templates, or change any of your Zaymo settings.
(If your account is also in the LTV testing beta, the assistant can additionally draft LTV tests and Klaviyo flows for you. Klaviyo flows are always created as drafts, never live.)
It only sees your own data. The connection is bound to the one organization you picked when you approved it. It can't reach another organization's data, and it can't be talked into it, because the organization comes from your sign-in rather than from anything the assistant asks for.
It sees what's connected. Same as Ask AI, the data comes from integrations you've actually connected, like , , , and , plus Zaymo's own email interaction data. If you ask about something from an integration you haven't connected, it will say so rather than guess. You can see exactly what's available, and how recently it synced, in the Data catalog panel inside Ask AI.
Connecting more than one organization
Each connection covers one organization. If you manage more than one and want both, add the connector a second time in your assistant and pick the other organization when you approve it. Both connections will show on the MCP card.
Disconnecting
Open Integrations, click the MCP card, and click Disconnect next to the connection you want to remove.
It takes effect right away. The assistant will stop being able to reach your data on its very next request, even if it still holds a valid sign-in.
Limits
One limit exists as a guardrail and shouldn't come up in normal use: a 30 question per hour limit. This is tracked separately per person's connection, not shared account-wide.
Troubleshooting
I don't see MCP on my Integrations page. Try refreshing the page. If it's still missing after that, reach out to us and we'll take a look.
My assistant says it can't connect. Check that the URL is exactly https://app.zaymo.com/api/mcp, with no trailing slash or extra characters. Then try adding the connector again.
It keeps asking me to sign in. Sign in to Zaymo in the same browser first, then start the connector flow again.
I clicked Deny by mistake. Nothing is broken. Just add the connector again in your assistant and approve it this time.
It connected, but says it has no data. The connector reads from your connected integrations. Open in Zaymo and check the Data catalog panel to see what's connected and when it last synced.
I connected the wrong organization. Disconnect it from the MCP card, then add the connector again and pick the right one.
Answers look wrong. Ask the same question in Ask AI inside Zaymo. If both give the same answer, the data itself is what needs a look, and we can help. If they disagree, tell us both answers and we'll dig in.
