Bundle Builder troubleshooting and FAQ

I can't find the Bundle Builder block
Check these in order:
- Recharge is connected as your subscription provider.
- Your plan includes the Subscriptions product.
- Bundles are turned on for your account. Ask us if you're not sure. We turn this on for you.
A customer sees "No bundles in your subscriptions."
The block is set to The recipient's next bundle, and their next upcoming order has no bundle. Common reasons:
- Their bundle is on a later order than another subscription. The block only looks at the next one.
- Their bundle is a preset bundle in Recharge, which customers can't customize.
Fix: Set the block to a specific bundle. It looks across all of the customer's subscriptions.
The block doesn't show up for some customers
Blocks set to a specific bundle, or to "most recent cancelled bundle", hide when there's nothing to show. Common reasons:
- They have a different size of the bundle than the one picked. Learn more
- It's a fixed-price bundle and they don't have a saved card, so it can't be sold to them.
- The "most recent cancelled bundle" block found nothing to bring back.
Some items are missing
- The bundle's Shopify collection isn't published to the Zaymo sales channel. This is the most common cause, especially for hidden collections. The editor preview names the collection. Publish it in Shopify.
- The collection has more than 100 products.
- The email shows 15 items at most. The rest are on the full bundle page through View Full Catalog.
Items already in a customer's bundle are always kept. Until the collection is published, the customer can lower them but not raise them.
A customer can only lower an item, not add more
One of these is true:
- The item is out of stock.
- They've reached the per-item limit in Recharge.
- The item is already at 9, the most the email allows. They can go higher on the full bundle page.
- The item's collection isn't published to the Zaymo sales channel (see above).
A customer with a cancelled bundle was offered a new one
The email was exported before bundle reactivation existed. Re-export it, and customers with only a cancelled bundle will get their old bundle back to reactivate instead. Learn more
A customer says "it told me my bundle changed"
This is working as intended. Their bundle was changed somewhere else (the Recharge portal, another email, your team) after they opened this email. Zaymo won't overwrite the newer change. They can open the email again, or use the link in the message, to edit the latest bundle.
Save changes is greyed out
The bundle isn't a valid size yet, and the counter is red. The customer needs to add or remove items until the bundle is full. The full bundle page shows a hint like "Add 2 more to save".
Does saving change one order or all future orders?
It depends on your Recharge bundle settings. The block tells the customer which one: "Changes apply to every future order" or "Changes apply to your next order."
Can customers change their bundle size?
Only through the upgrade, one size up at a time. They can't pick a smaller size from the email. They also can't swap bundle sizes in the portal or Swap block, because the items wouldn't match the new size.
Can customers change how often their bundle ships?
Yes. Turn on Allow users to switch selling plans on the block, and customers who have the bundle get a How often dropdown. The bundle must be sold on more than one schedule. Prepaid bundles don't get this option. Learn more
Will a customer be charged twice if they tap the button twice?
No. A repeat tap, or a retry from a slow connection, is recognized and nothing happens a second time. That's true for saving, buying and reactivating.
Does it work with Skio or other subscription apps?
Not yet. Recharge is the only provider supported today.
I renamed my bundle but emails show the old name
Emails set to a specific bundle keep the name from when they were exported. Re-export the email.
