Bundle Builder
Last updated: October 5, 2026
The Bundle Builder is an email block that lets your customers manage their Recharge bundle (also called a "box" or "build-your-own bundle") right inside the email. Depending on who opens it, a customer can:
- Change what's in their bundle: swap flavors, add items, or remove items.
- Buy the bundle if they don't have it yet, as a subscription or a one-time order.
- Upgrade to a bigger size, for example from a 6-pack to a 9-pack.
- Bring back a cancelled bundle, picking what goes in it before it restarts.
Each customer sees their own bundle. You don't choose products or set up a product feed. The items, sizes, prices and limits all come from your Recharge bundle settings.

Who can use it
You need all three of these:
- Recharge connected as your subscription provider. Recharge is the only provider supported today.
- Bundles set up in Recharge, either fixed-price or "pick any" (dynamic) bundles.
- The Subscriptions product on your Zaymo plan.
You'll find the block in the email editor under Subscriptions, labelled Bundle Builder (Beta). If you don't see it, ask us to turn on bundles for your account.
Where it works
| Email app | What the customer gets |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Fully interactive in the email |
| Apple Mail | Fully interactive in the email. Saving opens a short confirmation page. |
| Everything else (Outlook, Yahoo, and so on) | A picture of the customer's own bundle. Tapping it opens the full bundle page in their browser. |
The two kinds of bundles
Recharge has two kinds of bundles, and the block treats them a little differently:
- Fixed-price bundles cost the same no matter what's inside, for example "any 6 meals for $60". Many come in several sizes.
- Pick-any bundles (Recharge calls these "dynamic") are priced by what's inside. Each item has its own price, and some offer "buy more, save more" discounts.
Measuring results
The block sends these events to your email platform. In Klaviyo, their names start with "Zaymo".
| Event | When it's sent |
|---|---|
| Bundle Edit Saved | A customer saves changes to their bundle. It includes the bundle's contents before and after. |
| Bundle Upgraded | A save moved the bundle up to a bigger size. Its value is how much each order went up. |
| Bundle Created | A customer bought the bundle from the email using their saved card. |
| Bundle Checkout Loaded | A customer was sent to your store's checkout to buy the bundle. This is a click, not a purchase. |
| Reactivate | A cancelled bundle was brought back. |
Tip: For A/B tests, use Recharge's own Bundle selection updated metric. Zaymo counts in-email saves toward it automatically, so both sides of the test can be compared fairly.
